Job Description: OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE, NEW JERSEY


Coffee Distributing Corp. (a subsidiary of Compass Group), NY Metro’s largest office coffee service company has been in business since 1963. CDC is headquartered inGarden City Park,NY; has over 20,000 customers in the tri-state area, and we’re growing. We provide a wide range of refreshment products and vending services for offices as well as coffee and other beverages for restaurants and food shops. We deliver high value to our customers while treating our staff, customers and the general public fairly in all our dealings.


We are currently looking for a Results Oriented Outside Sales Representative to work mainly in the Essex, Morris, Union and Warren Counties. The successful candidate must possess a motivated and driven personality, with a true “hunter” mentality.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Maintain a prescribed level of profitability for the company.

  • Formulate personal sales goals with sales manager and participate in periodic reviews

  • Submit required activity reports.

  • Attend and participate in sales meetings and trade shows

  • Actively work with your sales manager to minimize account attrition once they are sold.

  • Be knowledgeable in use of all equipment.

  • Be aware of all new products, prices and changes.

  • Participate in sales development programs.

  • Maintain and develop your personal sales portfolio.


QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS



  • Hunter mentality

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B Sales

  • Excellent Interpersonal andCommunication Skills

  • Excellent Follow Up Skills and Results Oriented

  • Experience cold calling and developing new business.

  • Minimum Associates Degree or equivalent experience
