Job Description:

As Maintenance Supervisor you are responsible for the facilities maintenance of the assigned building. You are responsible for successfully coordinating all work activities of facilities personnel. You must also have the ability to supervise, direct, and develop hourly employees in accordance with company guidelines, and to ensure customer satisfaction through high quality standards, while maintaining an environment that is safe and equitable.
You will be responsible for assigning duties, inspecting work, and oversight of various projects. You would secure and assure that all equipment is maintained and in working order. You would also make sure buildings have sufficient supplies and take periodic inventories of supplies and materials. You would train, discipline, and recommend dismissals of employees.
Responsibilities:
- Provides supervision of various maintenance projects throughout the campus.
- Procurement of; equipment, materials, supplies, uniforms and compliance wear.
- Prepare, research and write technical documents, SOP’s and resource manuals.
- Conducts Quality Assurance audits – develops action plans per audits.
- Develops written recommendation/ reports based on due diligence and findings. Sets up and implements action plans.
- Performs equipment inventory.
- Prepares the labor and non-labor costing in accordance with Company guidelines and protocol.
- Stays current with Industry including obtaining/ retaining industry related certifications.
- Identifies and develops a corrective plan for quality and service issues.
- Provides support, training and recommendations to the onsite team.
- Performs special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma preferred, or equivalent work experience, reviewed on a case by case basis.
- Five years account maintenance experience in facilities industry with high customer/client contact.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
- Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
- Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
- Possess a thorough knowledge of maintenance procedures
- Ability to use working knowledge of working environment to meet established goals and objectives
- Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
