Job Description:
This is a Great Opportunity to join a great company and a growing Sector of Compass Group, Canteen Vending Services. As the District Accounting Manager you will be responsible for all accounting and Ivend activity within the District Branch.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and maintain all balance sheet accounts, financial statements and assure data provided to the regional and corporate offices is accurate and timely.
- Oversee all accounting functions including, A/P, A/R, Payroll, General Ledger, Collections, etc.
- Maintain controls for all District cash, inventories and assets.
- Lend financial perspective to business issues facing District operation.
- Analyze financial statements for areas of profit improvement, recommend action.
- Provide annual budget with input from District operations.
- Provide quarterly forecasts.
- Maintain internal controls within District operation.
- Interact with internal and external auditors.
- Optimize working capital and equipment capital.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business: Accounting, Finance, Management, etc); MBA/CPA preferred.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Lotus, Microsoft Outlook, and SAP.
- A minimum of two years accounting management experience.
- Ability to track and measure financial data and communicate information up and down.
