Job Description:
Compass Group, the world’s largest contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as an IT Auditor.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the STG Security group, this position is responsible for ensuring protection of IT Corporate Assets and compliance with established internal operating procedures through a governance role which promotes consistent and efficient processes. This function will implement and maintain appropriate programs to monitor IT compliance by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation. They will appraise adequacy of internal control systems and make recommendations to aid adherence to corporate security policies. They will monitor and track the status of post-audit action plans and perform follow-up procedures to validate implementation and risk mitigation. This position is encouraged to recommend and help develop new procedures and tasks to support security measures to protect information against unauthorized modification or loss.
An information systems security administrator requires an appropriate level of professional skepticism and must treat information about and information stored by the system’s users as confidential. By gathering and analyzing data, using reasoning and logic, they will develop test strategies to evidence the security posture and inform management when any issues need addressing.
Through the effective use of Active Directory (AD) Systems Administration and our IDM tool, this position will be monitoring identity life cycles and network/application authorization to provide technical support, problem resolution and compliance auditing for our Identity Management and security processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience identifying and testing controls relative to business processes and IT management.
- Experience performing basic analytics using Microsoft Excel.
- Working knowledge and understanding of compliance concerns, data protection/PII and security and risk frameworks (i.e. COBIT, COSO, ITIL)
- Solid understanding of the concepts regarding Identity Management and Information Systems auditing.
- The candidate must demonstrate the ability to absorb change and continue with positive attitude and results.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exhibits confidence and proper level of assertiveness when needed; displays maturity in approach and ability to effectively handle stress and frustration.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience using such tools as Hyena and Sharepoint desired.
- Experience with SOC2 certifications a plus.
- Preferred Degrees/Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree, Security +
