Job Description
Morrison Management Specialists, a member of The Compass Group, currently has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to work out of our Atlanta Support Center based in Atlanta, Georgia. The Financial Analyst will report to the Director of Retail Finance and will provide financial support to the operations leadership and regional teams for the Healthcare Sector: to improve retail/operational performance and drive financial results.
KeyResponsibilities:
Reporting and analytic of retail sales vs. budget and forecast
Reporting and analytic of the Wellness initiative
Reporting and analytic of monthly profit/G&A expense vs. budget and forecast
Coordinate the compilation of monthly financial results for executive management presentations
Ad hoc analytics on various retail accounts as necessary
Assist with implementing/tracking financial performance for retail programs and initiatives
Compile check average, day part sales, and other key metrics for review
Assist with data validation/migration to our mVision reporting system
Assist with budget compilation and analytics on an as needed basis
Other ad hoc projects within Finance as assigned
Necessary Ingredients:
Self-starter with a positive "can do" attitude.
BA in Finance or Accounting is required
High level of proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint, and Access is required
A total of 1 to 2 years of related experience in Finance with a demonstrated record of increased responsibility.
Strong organizational and planning skills with ability to set goals, objectives, and timelines to efficiently meet tasks.
Ability to effectively manage and extend influence across multiple layers of the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
