The Wellness Manager is responsible for all nutrition and wellness information and activity at assigned accounts. He/ she customizes, supports, coordinates and measures nutrition and wellness initiatives and provides nutrition education, training, communication and guidance for assigned accounts, Compass Group associates and other Business and Industry operations as needed. The Wellness Manager works collaboratively with dining service directors, regional directors, district managers, chefs and marketing managers to promote and support corporate nutrition goals, objectives, strategies and policies, to develop and implement wellness related programs and initiatives and to insure compliance with FDA nutrition labeling laws.




Qualifications:






      • Registered Dietitian -Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND) Certification and State Licensure, where applicable

      • Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition or related field of study, Master of Science in Nutrition or a related field preferred

      • Desired 5+ years professional experience

      • Serve-Safe certification required, but we can train once hired

      • Advanced written and oral communication skills; ability to apply complex mathematical concepts

      • Strong presentation and time management skills; advanced computer skills, management and leadership skills, advanced problem solving skills and outstanding interpersonal skills

      • Familiarity with nutrition analysis software is preferred

      • Culinary and/ or foodservice experience preferred

      • Ability to travel up to 30%
