Title: FOOD SAFETY MANAGER

Position Description:

It is the role of the Food Safety Analyst to support the Food Safety Field Operations Team. The Food Safety Analyst is responsible for data collection and analysis to identify trends, potential threats, and business opportunities. Reports generated by the Food Safety Analyst will be used by the Food Safety Field Operations Team to drive continuous improvement in food safety in Compass Group businesses.

KeyResponsibilities:
Maintain a data information system

Review food safety audit and inspection reports to identify risk factors

Track compliance with food safety audit corrective action reporting

Generate operational performance reports

Prepare comprehensive, detailed and accurate food safety measurement tracking, trending, exception and summary reports

Identify and track trends across multiple lines of business

Assist with technical audit reviews

Participate in team meetings and presentations to internal stakeholders

Work to continuously improve workflow, procedures, and tasks to increase efficiency and assure stakeholder satisfaction
Qualifications:
B.S. degree in environmental health, public health, food technology, food science, food safety, or related degree

1-3 years experience in food service, food retail, food safety auditing or regulatory inspections, food manufacturing or processing.

Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint), and data management systems

Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritize and complete assigned work

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations governing food service operations including FDA, state, and local food codes

Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks

Demonstrated knowledge of food service

Strong written and verbal communication skills
