In this exciting opportunity you will develop and lead a variety of facilities management services within a local setting for a national client. You will have a thorough knowledge of best practices for building maintenance and operations, office management, customer service, as well as the policies and values. In addition, you will focus on the needs and requirements of the client using service practices to exceed expectations.
Responsibilities:
Facilities responsibilities including but not limited to: project management, coordination and assistance with office renovations and staff relocations, implementation of office standards, policies and procedures, manage vendor contracts and site amenity programs.Supervisory duties including but not limited to: participation in staff selection, hiring, training, new employee orientation, development and performance evaluations, plans work schedules and job duties.Safety and Security duties including but not limited to: emergency response plans, vendor contracts, and security training.Purchasing and Reporting duties including but not limited to: managing and tracking accounting and financial reporting, verification of invoices, and vendor communication.Develop, organize and facilitate event planning, and building schedules.Maintaining business relationships and prompt customer service culture among sub-contractors managed; will create invoices and manage multiple small P+L's.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required.Minimum of 5 years facilities experience with emphasis on business services within a large organization strongly preferred.Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations.Strong customer service skills required.Negotiation skills required.Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.Creative problem solving skills.Ability to identify strong talent that complements and contributes to the individual facility locations.Ability to multi-task, organize, and establish priorities.Exhibit initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.Experience in working with outside vendors, accounts payable/receivable, and budget management preferred.Commitment to hands-on, team oriented management.Experience in leading, training and mentoring others.Proficiency using the Internet and Microsoft Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.Ability to work in a fast paced ever changing environment with strong techinical computer skills. Ability to manage project groups to roll out new processes.Strong customer/client relations with a knowledge of contract management.Remote management experience with a preference in building/facilities management- including knowledge in finance, HR, interviewing, etc.Great People.
