Job Description:
This is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY to become a leader in a great company and growing corporation.

As Facilities Manager you are be responsible for the facilities management, and security of the assigned buildings. You are responsible for successfully coordinating all work activities of facilities personnel. You must also have the ability to supervise, direct, and develop supervisors and hourly employees in accordance with company guidelines, and to ensure customer satisfaction through high quality standards, while maintaining an environment that is safe and equitable.

In the Facilities Manager role you would be the primary contact for the client. You will be responsible for assigning duties, inspecting work, and investigating complaints regarding facilities services and take immediate corrective action. You would secure and assure that all equipment is maintained and in working order. You would also make sure buildings have sufficient supplies and take periodic inventories of supplies and materials.You would train, discipline, and recommend dismissals of employees. Facilities Managers act as liaison between building occupants or administrators and supervisors, so it is imperative that you are able to effectively communicate all directives from managers, building occupants and administrators to janitorial staff.


Responsibilities:

Provides overall facilities management of business campus.

Proficient in the understanding and operation facilities management computer operating systems and other software tools.

Training - provides compliance training to account/ clients personnel and other facilities personnel as assigned.

Procurement of; equipment, materials, supplies, uniforms and compliance wear.

Prepare, research and write technical documents, SOP's and resource manuals.

Site analysis, trouble shoot deficiencies in operation, personnel or cultural.

Conducts Quality Assurance audits - develops action plans per audits.

Develops written recommendation/ reports based on due diligence and findings. Sets up and implements action plans.

Performs equipment inventory.

Prepares the labor and non-labor costing in accordance with Company guidelines and protocol.

Stays current with Industry including obtaining/ retaining industry related certifications.

Identifies and develops a corrective plan for quality and service issues.

Recommends best practice synergies, which may include bed tracking, call center concept etc

Develops the start up plan, coordinates resources and other logistics.

Implements all internal programs according to proposal, Company standard and costing/ budget.

When necessary, provides recommendations for the use of external resources.

Performs Operations Audits as needed.

Provides support, training and recommendations to the onsite management team.

Establishes and maintains "Foundations" level accounts for new and ongoing development of managers.

Provides orientation and management training to existing and new management teams. This training will include system application and day-to-day management practices.

Performs special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, reviewed on a case by case basis.

Five to eight years account management level experience in facilities industry with high customer/client contact.

Experience with HVAC, boilers, chillers a must

Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations

Ability to multi-tasks and establish priorities

Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment

Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership

Possess a thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures

Ability to use working knowledge of working environment to meet established goals and objectives

Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
