Job Description:
Position provides administrative andstaffsupport to the general organizational operations. Working under the direct supervision of the Purchasing Manager, this position provides all necessary organizational support and is responsible for a variety of other tasks and activities
Responsibilities:
Uploading monthly food menus to internal customers utilizing Vendsys software database.
Uploading, receiving, keying, and maintaining weekly food orders from multiple branches, ENP, and school sites utilizing Food Trak and Vendsys software.
Printing and distribution of weekly food production reports, requisition and recipes aiding in the processing of all production reports.
Locating manufacturer ingredient specifications for recipes
Utilizing Genesis Database Program to develop and update ingredient/nutrition panels to comply with federal and state food labeling regulations.
Maintaining hard copy records of all recipes and food product labels for Culinary Center
Updating handhelds and prepares paperwork for inventory
Maintain high level of customer service in calls for tracing orders.
Willing and able to work along with all Culinary Center associates while maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude at all times.
Establish and maintain communication with Purchasing and Vendors to ensure accurate information of ingredient information.
Provide support and act as liaison for Food Trak/Vendsys - production computer databases.
Provide support/backup for printing of food labels.
Provide support/backup for accounting processes.
Qualifications:
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in written and oral formats.
Position requires an individual who is extremely detail oriented, a self starter and has
the ability to stay focused.
Strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail required.
"Kitchen" Math a must including the ability to convert ounces to grams as well as
basic household measurement conversions.
Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
Fast and accurate typing required
Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) proficiency required.
Understanding of USDA and FDA regulations a plus.
Must have customer service experience
Information and technology proficiency for updates and handheld devices
Problem solving and decision making skills beneficial.
Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
Must be friendly, outgoing, and creative.
