In this position: Located in our Wayne, PA corporate office, you will be responsible for supporting processing for multi-state payroll for over 17,000 employees. Provides backup support for Assistant Payroll Manager when not on site. Duties include but not limited to: preparing & transmitting Ceridian Payroll, providing accounting reports. Clerical and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
Provide customer support 17K plus employees
Responsible for processing wage garnishments
Processing non-exempt employees timesheets
Data entry of union deductions, direct deposits and pay adjustments, etc.
Auditing and process personal action forms for management employees
Perform audits including internal as well as external
Process wage verifications
Provide and perform Payroll Presentations on a monthly basis
Breakdown payroll packages, sort, distribute reports and pay checks via UPS weekly and bi-weekly
Additional clerical and administrative duties
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Experience handling a multi-state payroll
Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations
Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
Possess a thorough knowledge of Payroll tax and garnishment laws
Ability to use working knowledge of working environment to meet established goals and objectives
Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with Ceridian Software
