Job Description:

Compass Group, the world's largest contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as an HRIS Functional Analyst.

The HRIS Functional Analyst provides systems analysis, configuration, development, QA and support for the HRIS portfolio of products within Compass Group's North America Division's Business Systems.


Responsibilities:

Work with business team members, 3rd party vendors, and user community to assess and define and deliver business/technical requirements related to HR Systems.

Conduct gap analysis and assessments of current technical/business solutions, as well as recommend potential future solutions.

Provide impact assessments and options for appropriate business solutions that offer workable, efficient options to users.

Draft requirements and specifications documentation, complete to signoff and validate deliverables to specifications.

Manage one or more system areas and modules by evaluating the current system's functional configuration and proactively locate and correct potential problems.

Provide second level support for all HR system products.

Work with team members and vendors to meet defined service level agreements.

Assist in application testing to ensure the functionality of the product.

Test and support IUS products during scheduled 'off business hours' system outages.

Produce high quality documentation, including procedural, operational and process flow documents.

Provide field user and frontline support personnel training on all HR applications.

Qualifications:

Committed and enthusiastic approach to supporting business customers in a systems environment.

Experience in application deployment planning, tracking and rollout activities.

Previous business analyst experience.

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

2+ years experience supporting and/or configuring HR systems or SaaS applications.

Experience in application test planning and test execution.

Solid knowledge of HR business processes, including HR laws and data privacy standards.

Effective organizational and planning skills.

Proven ability to work independently to complete tasks.

Availability to perform maintenance and testing tasks during off business hours.

Previous experience with SAP, applicant tracking, talent management, and learning management system products desired.
