Title: OCS Regional Director – Customized Pantry Services
Reports To: Regional Vice President
Location: Metro NY Area
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a growth minded Regional Director to manage our refreshment operations within the region. In this dynamic new position, the ideal candidate will have operations and fiscal responsibility to grow our business. This position is responsible for delivering world class service and execution.
Strategically aligned with Regional Leadership facilitate excellent relations while maximizing efficiencies and profits within accounts. Opportunity to work with many Fortune 100 companies and high tech organizations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the region financial performance meets Company and client objectives; optimize operational productivity and monitor development of realistic and accurate forecasts.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and guidelines to promote their consistent application within the district.
- Ensure adherence to company sponsored retailing and purchasing programs.
- Identify client's needs; communicate account progress and new Company programs to clients.
- Participate in the sales process and approves new business proformas.
- Conduct client contract negotiations.
- Identify egional and district training requirements.
- Develop and coach management associates to meet staffing needs and talent management program, and to ensure optimum utilization of regional and district associates.
- Help coordinate union contract negotiations; stay current and abide by all parts of collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
- Challenge the current state of traditional service and boldly recommend fresh new ideas that excite clients.
- Must have the courage to think “outside of the box” and the confidence to coach, teach and lead operators to understand new ways of providing additional services.
- Facilitate excellent relations and retention while provide solutions for existing and prospective pantry clients.
Category Development:
- Creating unique product and menu programs to for current and future pantry opportunities.
- Identify and test new an emerging brands for quality and market sustainability.
- Provide solutions for perishable category including produce, bakery and dairy.
Financial:
- Identify brands and products that maximize gross profits.
- Create and build reports to assist the field with monitoring and measuring profitability at pantry accounts.
- Strong P&L analysis ability required to analyze and also direct customers and operators.
- Asset management and procurement.
- Account analysis and reference to provide guidance for future growth opportunities.
Execution:
- Develop service models and cost structures to provide excellent customer service while maximizing efficiencies.
- Merchandising experience required to develop pantry design plans, also needed to ensure maximization of menu offering, traffic flow, and aesthetics.
Partnership:
- Marketing team to develop Point of Sale and Communication documents.
- Local DGMs and Account Managers to ensure client’s needs are exceeded.
- Sales Team to assist with selling strategy and investment needs.
- Foodbuy resources to assist with expanding menu offerings while maximizing volume allowances.

Necessary Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of eight years related experience.
- Excellent presentations skills are required.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial data.
- Strong command of P&L management / 8 years of management responsibility in multiple P&L environment
- Five years of customer management / retention experience in a service related field preferably with merchandising and retail food experience
- Experienced in presenting Quarterly Business Reviews illustrating Canteen value and improvements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Ability to Travel 40% (including overnight)
