Job Description:
Maintain, organize and create all key Compass Group / Foodbuy data resources needed by the BuySmart team to support daily operations. This includes monthly data maintenance to issue tracking software databases to maintain consistency and accuracy of all Compass Group accounts, vendors, contacts, and Compass Group personnel to ensure efficient automated use of our incident tracking tool. Create, manage, and distribute Foodbuy BuySmart metrics (procurement/supply chain incidents by supplier, by unit, by category, and by Foodbuy personnel. Manage daily maintenance of the BuySmart link center and My Compass purchasing module.
Responsibilities:
System Administrator (develop and maintain issue tracking software databases) for Foodbuy Remedy tables.
Manipulate (formulas, macros, and queries) of created databases with extracts from CERES for all Compass accounts, vendors, and company employee structures via Microsoft Excel and Access.
Management of Foodbuy implemented business processes for the BuySmart hotline.
Create and maintain BuySmart agent operation manual.
Develop and distribute BuySmart internal agent metrics such as BuySmart incident statistics.
Extract data from issue tracking reporting portal combined with internal tables and manipulate into a standard measurable reporting template.
Manage BuySmart link center and MyCompass purchasing module.
Collaborate with Customer Relations Director and Foodbuy personnel to identify and post communications that have a direct impact on our field accounts. E.g. Recalls, announcements, etc.
Possess expert knowledge of current BuySmart practices and policies to apply in a supervisory or agent capacity as needed.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Completion of undergraduate degree and/or equivalent business experience required.
Advanced computer skill set; working knowledge of MS Office Suite with specific ability to fully utilize Access.
Technical knowledge and ability to manipulate data, automate formulas, perform V-Look-ups, set-up Macros, and develop queries.
Analytical problem solving skills with innovative approach.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills; setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and following up on assignments with minimum direction.
Ability to work well with all levels of internal management as well as outside clients and vendors.
Flexible and ability to adapt well to ever changing business needs.
Collaborative - works well as a member of a team.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Customer service focus.
High level of Integrity and Ethics.
Financial or trend analysis experience preferred.
Purchasing/procurement experience preferred.
Distribution or foodservice experience preferred.
