Job Description:


Compass Group, the world’s largest contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here in our Charlotte, NC office for our Systems and Technology Group in the role of Systems Analyst II.


Responsibilities


The main focus of this position of this position will be in the quality assurance area, although experience and skills in business requirements gathering, functional specifications, business process definition and troubleshooting are a plus.


Quality Assurance: Create and execute test plans based on requirements. Work fluidly with application developers, database developers and product owner on a daily basis. Relate to software developers and DBAs on technical level.


Qualifications:


At least 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role. A solid track record of the following are a must:



  • On time delivery of detailed test plans

  • Executing test cases against in-house software

  • Conducting test plan reviews

  • The ability to work independently

  • Creative problem solving skills

  • Managing conflicting priorities and gaining consensus across multiple user groups

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Experience with a formal SDLC

  • Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment

  • Software defect/enhancement tracking system (such as ClearQuest, TFS)

  • Automated testing tools

  • Working knowledge of SQL or commercial query tool

  • SQL Server database tools
