Job Description:
Foodbuy is the food service industry’s leading Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) focused on lowering purchasing and product costs for foodservice organizations.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual in the position of Field Implementation Specialist based in our Charlotte, NC office. This role includes strong project management, analytical and customer service components to support the execution of category strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Data accuracy and maintenance - update price lists and other data within Foodbuy’s IT systems to reflect Category Development programs
• Prepare supplier and category analyses, presentation materials, and sales materials
• Analyze very large data sets to identify Purchasing opportunities and to track recommendations for program improvements
• Support the Business Needs team in new program roll outs and conversion initiatives - including data analysis and to liaison with stakeholders
• Track trends and results of performance at the unit level after a Purchasing Visit has taken place
• Monitor progress on departmental objectives, work with the Category Managers to ensure their projects are completed within deadlines
• Respond to inquiries from customers and field-based purchasing support staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and process improvements
• Other special projects as assigned – one individual will be involved with Minority and Women Business Enterprise data management and reporting
Qualifications:
• 1 to 3 years related experience required; experience executing defined projects, performing analytics, and project management are critical to success in this role
• High degree of experience utilizing Excel applications, including use of formulas, vlookups, and pivot tables.
• Experience utilizing various databases and reporting solutions to analyze very large data sets
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; significant related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
• Business analysis - Clarifies complex business issues by breaking down large amounts of data to determine root cause. When given an objective, looks for the most efficient way to achieve that objective.

• Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
