Requirements:
Work directly with Business Unit (BU) to coordinate/enhance Information Services (IS) and technological needs.
Liaise between BU and IS for day to day interaction, administration, training, support and project management related to IS, utilizing MS Office, Projects, Visio in related activities.
Use existing technological resources and solutions to improve BU operational efficiencies and enhance daily activities.
Facilitate/document IS needs within business Sector:.
Support IS needs for new business sales/start up efforts.
Serve as system owner/administrator for BU-specific applications.
Provide application level user support, end-user documentation, training materials, and operational instructions for each system's functionality.
Lead instruction for end user training.
Throughout application project life cycle, balance BU needs against other development projects.
Create functional specifications (end user scenarios and rules) and select potential vendors.
Analyze business needs and determine build vs. buy software solutions.
Record and document application issues that require fixes.
Manage 3rd party software provider and SLA to ensure adequate service, support, and uptime.
Manage system roll out/implementation projects, and provide on site instruction.
Apply knowledge of PC setup and basic wired/wireless networking to troubleshoot connectivity/setup issues.
Apply knowledge of SQL databases to write queries for business/end user needs.
Apply facilities services industry experience to manage and implement quality assurance solutions for business/customer users.
Utilize knowledge and experience in PC hardware and software to troubleshoot issues and recommend changes.
Perform backup duties for local servers and troubleshoot as needed.
Apply telecom system and datacom knowledge to support on-site/remote offices.
Oversee PC technicians and coordinate telecom/datacom office moves/changes.
Manage PC inventory and transfers between users.
Travel 20% as needed to onsite locations for installation, presentation or software implementations.Qualifications:
Must possess Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems or other business field of study.
Two years Facilities Services industry experience in IS troubleshooting/system implementation, Computerized Maintenance Management software.
Working knowledge of database architecture/management for Microsoft SQL server.
Good understanding of web applications/servers.
Intermediate level understanding of computer hardware/software troubleshooting.
Must have experience in telecom/datacom setup and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Projects and Visio.
Requires 20% domestic travel as needed.
