Job Description:
Compass Group, the world's leading contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as a Senior Reporting Financial Analyst supporting our B & I Sector:. Associate will report to the Director of Business Planning and Analysis.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update various access databases that track core KPI's for the B&I sectors
Act as liaison between field associates and corporate departments coordinating ad hoc requests and assisting on long term projects
Assist with the close and reconcile P&L and balance sheet for Business Excellence team
Prepare timely and accurate financial and account data, client facing and internal reports
Manage special projects for the Retail Innovations group
Develop, implement and manage new reports as needed
Ability to work with and communicate effectively with all levels of management both in the field and corporate office
Create trending analysis requests as needed
Create accurate and timely ad-hoc report requests
Track and accurately report on Financial Incentive Plans on a period, quarterly, and yearly basis
Utilize various data sources to gather needed data for analysis
Ability to adjust to changing priorities
Prepare and distribute period end MAP reports for all B&I Sectors at all levels (Sector/Divison/Region)
Track and manager purchasing KPIs, provide monthly progress reports
Assist Core 4 sectors in managing operation maintenance as it relates to Same Store Sales Hierarchy
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks/priorities
Work with Corporate Financial Planning group to centralize reporting needs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
7+ yrs experience; 3+ years accounting/finance/reporting experience for a large corporation
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs
Strong Microsoft Access skills a plus
Hyperion / Essbase experience a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
