Job Description:
Foodbuy is the foodservice industry's leading Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) focused on lowering purchasing and product costs for foodservice organizations. Currently we offer a Great Opportunity for career development and growth as a Data On-boarding Coordinator based in our Charlotte, NC office.
The Data On-boarding Coordinator is responsible for working directly with Manufacturers and Distributors to develop and maintain data feeds integral in supporting Foodbuy's information needs. This process results in the successful capture and processing of Foodbuy customers' purchase transactions, and the generation of manufacturer invoices, customer volume allowance and compliance audits ensuring maximum revenue and savings for those customers.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate on-boarding activities around implementation and receipt of accurate standardized data from Foodbuy trading partners to support various information needs and processes
Test and analyze trading partner data to identify gaps in format or content
Ensure accuracy and completeness of information received from trading partners
Present findings to management and solicit feedback via formal/informal communication
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Foodbuy information needs
Generate and maintain status reports used for communication to business owners and Senior Leadership
Formulate new methodologies and analytics to drive efficiencies and reduce on-boarding timelines
Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with trading partners and data providers (iTrade, 1WorldSync, ServiceChannel)
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Working knowledge of SQL or commercial query tool a plus
Completion of undergraduate degree and/or equivalent business experience required
Financial or trend analysis experience
Purchasing/procurement experience
Distribution or foodservice experience
Minimal travel required (typically to the Corporate office in Charlotte)
Detail-oriented
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Analytical problem solving
Flexible/Adapts well to change
Collaborative - works well as a member of a team
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Customer service focus
