Job Description:
The Data Standards Analyst is responsible for the accurate setup and maintenance of term sets/catalogs in the system that will result in the correct calculation and timely billing of rebates. This role is responsible for adhering to established master data standards and the contract/catalog management guidelines that have been put in place.
Responsibilities:
Setup, implementation, and maintenance of distributor / manufacturer rebates and pricing
Accurate and timely processing of discrepancy notices
New item creation in manufacturer catalogs
Ensure accuracy and completeness of information received from Procurement
Present findings to management and solicit feedback via formal/informal communication
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of contract term set and item attribute processes
Formulate new methodologies to drive efficiencies
Ensure that all dealings with suppliers, clients, and internal personnel are carried out ethically and professionally
Establish and maintain suspect criteria for items and transactions
Suspect Processing and resolution
Contracted / Non-Contracted Responsibilities
Qualifications:
2+ years experience reviewing and maintaining contract agreements with various vendors and distributors
Product knowledge in the food service industry is desired
Completion of undergraduate degree and/or equivalent business experience required
Financial or trend analysis experience
Supplier and customer interaction experience
Purchasing/procurement experience preferred
Distribution or foodservice experience is preferred
Minimal travel required (typically to the Corporate office in Charlotte)
Strong experience with MS Office applications with an emphasis on Excel 2007
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Generate innovative, "out of the box" approaches and improved solutions that help create incremental gains in business results
Detail oriented individual with strong organizational and prioritization skills
Collaborative - works well as a member of a team
Flexible/Adapts well to change
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
