Job Description:
Compass Group, the world's largest contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as a Senior Payroll Compliance Analyst.
Responsibilities:
Functional expert on the Time and Attendance Solution
Apply the payroll business rules to the time and attendance solution
Monitor and document changes in labor laws to help manage compliance function
Research and track wage and hour compliance and publish results to senior management, HR and legal
Research and document labor requirements and communicate with key customers/departments for requirements review and agreement
Lead Labor Metric Webinars- deliver presentations to management in the field explaining current status, expectations and offering solutions
Work audits to keep system data accurate
Interface with unit mangers to work towards a solution in areas identified as non-compliant
Burst emails and record responses, respond to issues identified as related to Labor Initiatives
Utilize testing methodology, assist with test tools development, testing script documentation, results reporting, and issue resolution
Ensure reporting matches field requirements
Create process documentation
Provide end user support through all phases of compliance implementation
Liaison with key customers in related departments
Perform root cause analysis in order to identify gaps in existing solutions and assist in developing new preventive solutions
Perform analysis on wage and hour compliance and system usage
Perform analyses and special project work related to payroll
Document processes and procedures
Ad hoc reporting
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
SAP Payroll experience strongly preferred
Minimum 3 years business experience, including at least 1 year HR/PR related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Strong analytical and communication skills
Proven ability to self-manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a project environment
Commitment to quality and willingness to accept the responsibility of a key team member
