Job Description:



  • Managing projects as the owner’s representative from programming to closeout.

  • Providing world class customer service.

  • Management of building construction & renovation projects.

  • Providing oversight and quality inspection on construction & renovation projects.

  • Responsible for timely completion & financial outcome of projects.

  • Conduct facility assessments of buildings.

  • Ensure construction complies with established contract, safety & budget requirements.

  • Ensure construction complies with local, state & federal laws.

  • Ensure owner’s satisfaction & success of assigned projects.



  • Provides effective construction management of assigned projects by coordinating all pre-construction and construction activity on these projects, including project design, development of construction documents, preparation of project estimates and budgets, receipt and evaluation of project proposals, site observation of construction, budget and schedule management, project close-out and post construction issues such as warranty or latent defect claims.

  • Committed to continuously improving the quality and value of service provided to customers.

  • Strives to exceed customer expectations by ensuring all communication to customers is responsive, respectful, and solutions-oriented.

  • Must be able to work safely in a construction environment and be able to fully tour construction sites in order to monitor progress and adherence to the projects’ construction documents.

  • Contributes to a safe work environment by quickly reporting accidents and unsafe working conditions.

  • Utilize ebuilder & in house PM program to maintain all documents as current.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum four year college degree preferred or experience equivalent.

  • 5 years progressive POM management & leadership experience preferred.

  • Must have the ability to see and understand the inter-connections between various operating units.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • High customer service and quality attitude, with great communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.

  • Ability to maintain organization in a fast paced, changing environment.

  • Must exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership.

  • Thorough knowledge of engineering and construction principles, practices and procedures, applicable laws and government regulations, principles of management.

  • Ability to travel 75%-80% in support of the division programs and requirements.

  • Construction based CAD experience preferred.

  • Ebuilder experience highly preferred.
