We are looking for a dynamic individual with fresh ideas and proactive approaches to respond to an increased demand for more sophisticated message delivery and best in class approaches to internal and external communication. This position will support Eurest National Accounts focusing on best practices, professional consistent presentations for Quarterly Business Reviews, innovative metrics and analytices, best practices for safety of our associates.


The ideal candidate will have previous foodservice industry experience in addition to exceptional business writing skills, product marketing experience and corporate social media experience. The person should be a strategic thinker that can manage projects and think outside of the box. The optimal candidate is also a self-starter with demonstrable experience in building relationships with stakeholders who provide content, proactively seek to understand the right questions to ask and to aggressively manage deadlines that require input from multiple sources.


Responsibilities:



  • Draft, format and/or edit program announcements, program updates, new programs and marketing initiatives, crisis or emergency situation communication, and standard monthly and quarterly publications.

  • Develop a corporate social media campaign and stakeholder advocate strategy.

  • Simultaneously manage multiple tasks in various project plans.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams for sharing of best practices and resources.

  • Creative design and project management that may include trade shows, food shows, marketing plans and collateral development.

  • Development and implementation of communication and marketing planning.

  • Provide direction, insight and approval of style layouts in working with the team’s graphic designer.

  • Project management focused on strategic planning, agenda setting and logistics of large internal events for associates, suppliers and community partners.

  • Development of visual presentations and key messages associated with Eurest National Accounts corporate identity, both internally and externally.

  • Develop effective programs to encourage member participation in new or existing programs and to support Compass operators’ understanding of programs.

  • For major initiatives, develop and execute communications plans that include program and product overviews, collateral, talking points, presentations, webinars and other communication deliverables.

  • Manage the content of the Eurest National Accounts and other internal websites to ensure well-coordinated and consistent messaging.

  • Develop and execute communications plans for special projects and event planning as assigned, which may include trade shows, food shows, large internal and external events, meetings, etc.

  • Develop innovative approaches to message formats and delivery methods, including social media, website management, and other technologies as they become available.

  • Assist in the development of social media platforms and content generation.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, liberal arts or relevant field of study.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ solid experience in writing, developing and managing creative communications within a corporate environment.

  • Strong writing skills with an ability to write concisely and succinctly.

  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders in content development, editorial processes, approvals and communication dissemination.

  • Ability to engage with cross-functional Compass associates to produce fresh, creative approaches to content.

  • Strong internal stakeholder relationship-building skills.

  • Strong verbal and presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a project-driven environment

  • Demonstrated page layout skills in Word, InDesign, Illustratrator, etc.

  • Drive for accuracy and going above and beyond at all times.

  • Serious candidates will be asked to provide samples of their previous work.
