Job Description:


Are you a top sales performer and relationship builder who is looking for an exciting opportunity to earn a competitive base salary plus commission, quarterly and year end bonuses?


Compass Group has a Regional Sales Director position available in the Mid-Atlantic United States with a focus on southern New Jersey, DC, Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. This professional top-performer will be an organized self-starter who is able to work independently. This is not a management position. The Regional Sales Director will report to the Vice President of Sales and will be responsible to ensure profitable market growth of new Chartwells K-12 School accounts as well as FLIK Independent Dining Schools. Candidate will be based in New Jersey, DC, VA, or MD.




Recipe to Succeed:



  • Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations

  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities

  • Consistently exceed sales quotas

  • Cold calling, prospecting and discipline to develop markets

  • Strong time management and territory development skills (multi-task ability)

  • Computer skills including CRM, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat

  • High energy, positive attitude and excellent communication/presentation skills




Necessary Ingredients:



  • Interested candidates should have a BA or equivalent

  • Successful track record selling contracted services

  • Sales experience in K-12 market preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must

  • Motivated with the desire to earn well over $100K

  • This position entails up to 75% travel within the territory

  • Computer literate

  • High degree of personal accountability and integrity
