Job Description:
Supports deployment of Webtrition, our web-based proprietary ingredient, recipe and menu management database ensuring ongoing business strategy and operating processes are met per sector. Provides recommendations for strategic planning with sector as it relates to the application. Assist in system analysis, configuration development, support and testing. Coordinates with end-users and IT developers to deliver business requirements. Organizes, coordinates and validates data entry for ingredient and recipe management for sector. Responsible as nutrition approver for Morrison ingredients, recipes and menu cycle records. Helps to coordinate publishing of records with team for field user access. Works in conjunction with Morrison Healthcare and other Compass sectors to ensure integration and field needs are met through Webtrition. Function as the liaison between the culinary and nutrition division to ensure full nutrition support is in place.

Coordinates, per established protocol, nutrient linking to USDA nutrient database, manufacturer food labels and laboratory analysis; proper data entry for pricing updates, diet specifications and corporate recipes and menu cycles
Works with Morrison’s Culinary & Nutrition/Wellness teams as final nutrition analysis approver of Healthcare menus and other business initiatives
Inputs information to comply with regulatory standards within the application
Provide training on menu analysis, menu implementation and other related topics to all Morrison clinicians and operators.
Assist in gap analysis to identify system solution options for meeting business needs
Participates in acceptance testing, as appropriate, to ensure the functionality and accuracy prior to release
Participate in nutrition team meetings as needed to provide updates on culinary projects
Provided support to address questions from clinicians and operators
Qualifications:
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Culinary degree, a plus
- Must be willing to participate in patient satisfaction programs and activities
Minimum of 5 years to include 3+ years of experience with computerized food operations and clinical nutrition management application.
Experience with databases, operating systems and hardware platform.
- Must be experience with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
- Must be able to successfully complete criminal background checks (State and Federal) and drug screenings
