Canteen has an immediate full time opening for a career minded individual to join our team in Wilson,NC. Canteen is a worldwide vending company. Visit our website at www.canteen.com
Primary responsibility is to provide service to unattended retail locations inside designated client facilities.
Requirements:
Receives deliveries of such items as; soft drinks, coffee products, cups, condiments, snack items, fresh food, and sundries at customer's place of business. Verifies orders received and reconciles noted variances following outlined operational procedures.
Fills designated retail market to proper inventory levels with such items as soft drinks, coffee, cups, condiments, and snack items.
Responsible for proper handling of perishable food products. (All cold food and milk products must be kept refrigerated at all times.) Identifies and removes product that is beyond the best-by date or will be past the best-by date prior to the next service. Verifies and records temperatures on refrigeration logs, notifies management when temperature exceeds safety zones.
Replenishes and rotates stock in reach-in coolers, on shelves, coffee racks, or in designated merchandising locations. Rotates product to ensure first-in and first-out product utilization. Properly displays product (straight-up and facing forward).
Records transactions on appropriate delivery tickets and/or electronic devices to include free standing payment centers.
Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoice or delivery ticket, cash received or collected and product. Conducts inventory reconciliation in accordance with district procedures.
Informs regular customers of new products or services, listens to and resolves service complaints, sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials to customers.
Performs routine cleaning and sanitation of microwave, food service equipment, and coffee equipment; conducts minor service and adjustments on machines such as; water filter exchanges, clean brewer sprayer-head, replacing light bulbs, and replacing other small machine components. Reports all out of service equipment to designated maintenance repair service operators or technician dispatcher.
Maintains a clean and organized storage room. Utilizes operating system to maintain product par levels and orders replacement inventory to ensure adequate supplies to meet client needs while maximizing product rotation.
Ensures a safe work environment; performs job safely. Reports any unsafe acts or work conditions to the appropriate manager.
