Job Description:
Compass Group, the world's largest contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as a Senior Payroll Analyst.
Responsibilities:
Functional expert on the Time and Attendance Solution
Apply the payroll business rules to the time and attendance solution
Research and document labor requirements and communicate with key customers/departments for requirements review and agreement
Utilize testing methodology, assist with test tools development, testing script documentation, results reporting, and issue resolution
Ensure reporting matches field requirements
Create process documentation
Create supporting documents for training, facilitate meetings and provide application demos for all audience levels
Coordinate product deployments
Provide end user support through all phases of implementation
Liaison with key customers in related departments
Perform root cause analysis in order to identify gaps in existing solutions and assist in developing new preventive solutions
Consolidate multiple sources of analysis to determine root cause and what action to take related to special project work for payroll
Perform analyses and special project work related to payroll, recommend solutions based on analysis
Develop plans as need to resolve an issue and achieve deadlines
Travel as requiredQualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
SAP Payroll experience strongly preferred
Minimum 3 years business experience, including at least 1 year HR/PR related experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to summarize and articulate issues for quick assessment of action needed
Proven ability to self-manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a project environment, drive to results
