Job Description:


Compass Group, the world’s leading contract support services adn foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth in Cincinnati, Ohio.


As an HR Generalist, successful candidate will provide support to the hospital management team at the unit level as as well as interact with various Human Resource personnel to meet strategic, tactical and administrative Human Resource objectives. The candidate’s knowledge of employee relations and strong analytical ability should be used to support HR initiatives. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with hourly and management staff at the unit level, as well as Senior Management.

Responsibilities:



  • Handle complaints, resolve issues, improve processes.

  • Analyze labor turnover data.

  • Manage exit survey process, review responses.

  • Assist with unit level compensation/talent management collection and analysis.

  • Develop presentations for Senior Management meetings.

  • Process on-line selection assessments.

  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Must have worked in fast-paced, very flexible environment, where phone calls are never ending, e-mails are frequent, and organizational skills are a must

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, related field or equivalent related experience.

  • PHR or SPHR certification a plus.

  • Two + years experience as HR representative/generalist.

  • Working knowledge of employment law.

  • Strong computer skills including MS office.

  • Experienced in scheduling activities or duties, coordinating activities, handling complaints and resolving issues.

  • Experience in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.

  • Content-knowledge regarding employment law, policies, procedures and programs.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical and mathematical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

  • Commitment to excellence and process improvement.
