Job Description:
Compass Group, the world’s leading contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth in Charlotte, North Carolina (flexible) as a Financial Analyst. This position will join the Higher Ed and K-12 Deal Teams that support the Sales Team.
- Provide support to the sales and operations teams in preparing proformas for new business.
- Distribute files for review calls.
- Maintain the proforma model integrity.
- Prepare client forms and tie back to the proforma.
- Ensure the Customer Relations Management (CRM) database reflects the correct account information.
- Train New team members in the use of CRM.
- Create and distribute weekly update reports from CRM.
- Provide budget vs. actual comparison for new account revenue and profit.
- Maintain data base of “like” accounts for benching marking.
- Maintain database of brand costs
- Maintain database of standard RFP responses:
- New business
- Loss business
- Student counts
- Brands
- Prepare bid comparisons after award of contract.
- Provide budget vs. actual reporting on expenses
Qualifications:
- Four year degree in accounting.
- Strong advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills required.
- SAP experience required.
- Hyperion Enterprise SAP experienced preferred.
- Experience in a deadline driven environment.
- Ability to adjust to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks/priorities.
- Professional demeanor and presentation.
