Job Description:
General working knowledge of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI/DSS) and card brand compliance
Troubleshoot and provide technical support for stand alone credit card terminals and integrated credit card processing solutions (POS) to minimize down time and batch settlement issues
Liaison between Field, Field Systems Support, merchant processors, POS vendors and gateway providers; coordinating multi party communication for issue resolution
Create and review reporting to proactively recognize locations with settlement issues; identify and bridge gaps with existing review process, implement process improvement
Assess/interpret field implementation requests for non-preferred card payment solutions
General understanding of stored value, loyalty, gift card (closed loop)card products and services
Provide support to in house terminal download department and field deployment
Assist with projects as needed i.e. EMV product review and discovery
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree - preferably in Computer Science or Business
2-5 years credit card payment product experience
Strong understanding of credit card terminals and integrated POS card processing solutions
Strong understanding of the card payment authorization and settlement cycle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate to associates at all levels of the organization
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office SAP experience preferred
