In this position: You will provide field and corporate support with emphasis in associate relations, hourly recruitment sourcing, supporting new unit openings, training, and diversity. You will be a content expert regarding policies, procedures and programs to these areas.


Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate and conduct management training related to this area (i.e.: terminations, sexual harassment, and managing performance)

  • Investigates and advises management in appropriate resolution of associate relations issues

  • Content expert regarding policies, procedures and programs

  • Coordinates/ conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations

  • May represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations

  • Supports internal customer survey and associate satisfaction interpretation/feedback process

  • Attends RVP/DM meetings to increase HR visibility

  • Assists with training related to the areas of interviewing, selection and hiring

  • Assists managers in developing and implementing recruitment plans to increase qualified applicant flow

  • Supports Sector and provides direct assistance and support in critical markets

  • Identifies critical needs area's and takes appropriate steps to rectify problems

  • Coordinates and conducts new hire orientation and management training related to this area

  • Conducts HR Assessments

  • Regularly conducts HR related training to the field (i.e. Sexual Harassment, Progressive Discipline)




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • 2-5 years multi-unit HR generalist and associate relations experience preferred

  • Experience in a high customer contact setting

  • Previous Operations experience helpful

  • Thorough knowledge of all housekeeping practices and procedures

  • Strong work ethic, intense drive and initiative for quality and customer service

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong computer user skills to include spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software. MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint preferred

  • Experience in Employee Relations required

  • Excellent problem solving skills and follow through in both one-on-one and group situations

  • Ability to utilize a participative approach to managing staff

  • Ability to function appropriately under stressful conditions. Good stress management skills required

  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills and an ability to prioritize tasks at the same time
