Job Description:


As an Architect/Lead Developer, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading, and coordinating software development practices across multiple applications with varying resource models. This role will plan, architect, design, document, and implement solutions & strategies for development of new & existing enterprise applications in .Net technology space. In addition, the candidate should be capable of managing projects, deliverables for new or existing products and applications. The candidate should possess strong leadership qualities coupled with strong technical and programming skills. Experience in architecting, designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-class applications is a must. Candidate should posses’ strong communication skills to effectively manage internal and external expectations from partners & customers.


Experience working across multiple technologies, development tools, operating systems, database and application servers is a must. Along with taking lead role in developing complex modules & systems, the candidate will be responsible for creating & maintaining development plans, release management strategies, and testing methodologies that ensure application development is within the prescribed best practices for all assigned software systems. The candidate should have a drive for results with excellent interpersonal communication skills and management capabilities to lead a team of developers.


Responsibilities:



  • Design, Develop and Architect complex enterprise level applications in .Net technology across various business domains

  • Improve architecture by tracking emerging technologies and evaluating their applicability to business goals & operational requirements

  • Collaborate with project teams to improve process, tools, quality metrics, and methodology

  • Ensure technical documentation and systems are in agreement

  • Ensure the execution of Unit & Module-level tests against detailed design specifications

  • Provide leadership for the project team regarding scope, issue resolution, project priorities, and the development standards established

  • Develop team members and coach them where needed to help build new and improved skillsets

  • Responsible for planning and executing the project and production support deliverables across multiple technologies and applications


Qualifications:


Technical Skills:



  • BS in Computer Science with professional work experience in software development

  • A minimum of 7 years cumulative experience developing and leading enterprise-class software development with 5 years experience in solution architecture, design, and development

  • SME level skillsets around core Microsoft .Net technologies and MVVM frameworks

  • Strong and Proven Experience in using Modern Application development Frameworks in designing and developing enterprise-class applications

  • 5+ years experience in web technologies, such as .Net, C#, MVC, EF, Web Services, JQuery, JavaScript and Java Script Frameworks.

  • Prior experience in designing and implementing with Angular.js

  • Experience in designing & implementing caching solutions (MS State Server, AppFabric etc.)

  • Prior experience working with Database design, optimization etc. (SQL Server, DB2)

  • Extensive background in Agile software development methodologies

  • 7+ years’ experience in developing web applications


Leadership Skills:



  • Ability to guide, measure, mentor and motivate a development team

  • Demonstrated ability to handle/organize multiple complex technical projects simultaneously without compromising the quality of work or the final product

  • Demonstrated strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated team player to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment who thrives on challenging problems

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently as well as part of a team

  • Ability to continually improve the skills and capabilities of the development team

  • Ability to balance business priorities with technical best practices and implementation methodologies while developing enterprise-class application software


Desired Skills:



  • Prior experience in mobile/responsive web application design and implementation

  • Prior experience in designing and implementing with API/services based solutions
