Job Description:
The HRIS Department provides many different services to all areas within Compass Group. These services include reporting on HR and payroll data, HR related system implementations and the integration of associates from legacy systems to our SAP HR/Payroll system. As HRIS is a service based department, the HRIS Analyst will serve as a liaison and will work directly with stakeholders across the organization to provide system awareness, best practices, and develop innovative and integrated employee system reports and solutions.
The HRIS Analyst role will largely focus on reporting and providing information to Compass Group at large using SAP and related reporting tools. The position will utilize best business practices in conjunction with technology and system procedures to produce a more efficient work output. Day to day responsibilities include the design, creation, testing and distribution of Human Resources and Payroll related reports from our SAP HR system to support both our Corporate and Field Operations. In addition to reporting the position will also be involved in system implementation for various technological advancements in the HRIS arena. This position will also work with the HRIS team to achieve departmental and company goals.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for downloading data (from SAP primarily) into databases, testing data to ensure integrity and producing reports from databases in a clear and concise manner.
Technical expertise and detailed technical design knowledge for database design and relational reporting
Contributes to the development of departmental standard practices and processes
Competency to provide technical guidance to other Analysts, Coordinators, and Specialists
Effective organizational and planning skills
Requires adherence to agreed upon deadlines
Perform system data and audit testing
Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Service oriented, collaborative approach to internal customer and peer relationships
Will consult with customers to ascertain their data needs, providing recommendations to customer for layout, frequency, and routing of reports.Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
HR business related experience (HR, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, etc)
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work in a fast paced environment
Experience querying databases using SQL or another query language
Extensive background in creating and maintaining Access databases (ability to import files, join tables and queries together, as well as create complex queries from scratch, making use of If statements and where conditions)
Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills with the ability to create formulas, calculations, pivot tables and charts reading information from multiple excel tabs (including hidden tabs and hidden data)
Ability to analyze data for accuracy and integrity
Proficiency in other Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience working with SAP data is preferred.
Strong desire to provide superior customer service.
Also expected to assist other HRIS team members through problem solving, identifying alternative processes to bring efficiencies to all team members' tasks.
Expected to be open to support from the HRIS team to explore methods to increase efficiencies and productivity of the position.
