Working as an AIRPORT LOUNGE MANAGER for FLIK will allow you the opportunity to work with GREAT people like yourself! You will be surrounded by people who are passionate about what they do. In this position, you will:
Responsibilities:
Ensure the highest quality of food and service within the lounges. To operate within the budget and identify new ways to improve the development of the business. Will carry out training and development of all staff to enable them to carry out their own duties and responsibilities. Emphasis is on customer service and constant interaction with passengers.
This is a seven day operation; hours are 5:00 am - 1:30 am.
Recipe to Succeed:
- A true desire to work in executive dining services
- Assists in all phases of planning, budgeting analysis, and reporting relating to the operation as well as controls account expenditures and obtains maximum utilization of account resources
- Develop short and long-term financial and operational plans in support of the overall objectives of the company, and monitor and maintain performance, and product and service quality
- Advocate preventative maintenance and security functions that protect physical assets and personal safety of employees and customers
- Coordinates activities for food service operations
- Direct liaison with client, conducts all hiring & training of associates
- Assumes food quality & profitability
Necessary Ingredients:
- 2-4 year degree in hospitality management or culinary arts preferred
- 1-3 years progressive hospitality management experience is required
- Fine-dining management experience is required
- Extensive food & beverage knowledge, including wine pairings
- Demonstrated profit and loss management ability and client relations success is essential
- Requires operations management experience with purchasing knowledge
- Ability to manage and train a staff
- Excellent communication and computer skills are desired
- Must be able to set clear objectives and manage time effectively
