Job Description:
Foodbuy is the foodservice industry's leading Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) focused on lowering purchasing and product costs for foodservice organizations. Currently we offer a Great Opportunity for career development and growth as a Transaction Management Analyst, Beverages based in our Alpharetta, GA office.
The Transaction Management Analyst, Beverages is responsible for accurately processing beverage data, assigning VA, publishing and reporting information from multiple sources. This process results in the successful generation of unit level income and reporting of that income.
Responsibilities:
Set-up and implementation of manufacturer catalogs and items in Ceres in accordance with master data standards for beverage manufacturers and suppliers
Process and create linkages between distributor data and Ceres catalog information to achieve the highest percentage of associated manufacturers, customer and item level data
Ensure accuracy and completeness of item attributes
Present findings to management and solicit feedback via formal/informal communication
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of invoice/transactional reporting process
Resolve customer challenges, ad-hoc requests, and concerns
Generate and maintain reports for multiple users of different levels throughout the organization
Formulate new methodologies to drive efficiencies and increase data capture
Ensure that all dealings with suppliers, clients, and internal personnel are carried out ethically and professionally
Manufacturer / Item Association Suspect processing and resolution
Coordinate and participate in the timely collection of invoice/transaction data from distributor partners
Process and create linkages between Distributor data and Ceres catalog information to achieve the highest percentage of associated manufacturers, customer and item level data
Analyze distributor data to identify gaps in reporting and potential revenue opportunities
Ensure accuracy and completeness of information received from distributor
Submit and resolve ICANs, DANs
Ongoing vendor relationships
Qualifications:
Completion of undergraduate degree and/or equivalent business experience required
Advanced knowledge of Excel required
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred
Intermediate knowledge of CERES (or other rebate / contract management technology)
Financial or trend analysis experience
Supplier and customer interaction experience
Purchasing/procurement experience
Distribution or foodservice experience
Moderate travel required (typically to the Corporate office in Charlotte) - up to twice monthly at times.
