Job Description
Unique training/development position, to be cross trained on LA units in order to support units across the nation when needed based on volume of business, leaves of absence, transitions, openings, etc.Must have flexibility and willingness to travel with little notice In addition supporting national sales.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with the General Manager to ensure all catering menu proposals are presented to the client accurately & effectivelyEnsure that all appropriate communication for upcoming business is complete and distributed in a timely manner to the management teamWork with the service staff to see that message handling with administrative support is efficiently handled and placed in the computer based system immediately Correspond with potential customers providing any requested information concerning bids, proposals, confirmation of bookings, thank you letters, follow-up letters, etc. In conjunction with other office associates, you will maintain accurate and up to date records of all Sales department functions and transactions.
Qualifications: Must have the flexbility and the ability to travel on short notice and for temporary placement in other cities as the need arises. Individual must have a minimum of 2 years of strong operations experience with a catering company, full service hotel, or other related field/equivalent experience.
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing a plus.
