Job Description:


Compass Group, the world’s largest contract food service company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as a Payroll Customer Service Quality Manager.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage payroll staff of 8-10 Associates and 3-4 Analysts

  • Oversee day to day operations to ensure departmental metrics and customer service goals are met

  • Monitor daily goal results against customer service quality standards

  • Design and maintain processes and controls to support efficiencies and quality of work

  • Manage both internal and field compliance of the MyRequests initiative

  • Forecast resource needs to accommodate new processes, work quality and volume reduction strategies.

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of hours (Epay, ReMacs, Web, WebRA) from the field and time to be keyed work orders for weekly payroll processing

  • Coordinate communications to the field regarding payroll changes/initiatives/issues

  • Develop and implement customer satisfaction strategies to achieve improved work quality and service levels year over year


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s Degree Required (Finance, Accounting preferred)

  • 5 + years management experience in a multistate payroll environment

  • CPP preferred

  • Proven ability to categorize large volumes of issues and apply root cause/preventative solutions

  • Illustrated experience to manage and lead staff to excellent performance

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Proficient at MS Office (particularly with Excel and Access)
