Compass Group, the world's leading contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as a Financial Analyst.
Responsible for the financial reporting to Clients (Franchisees) and Internal Management. Works directly with Client Relationship Manager (Franchise Champion) to maintain high quality customer service and resolve client issues as they arise. In addition, will assist internal management with various aspects of financial activities that occur within the division.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, analyze, and assist in presenting financial information to Clients and Management.
Prepare Annual Business/Financial Reviews with Clients.
Assist Corporate Internal Audit with Annual Franchise Audits.
Participate in Franchise Acquisitions and Divestitures.
Manage effective communications with Franchisees and Client Relationship Manager.
Assist Purchasing Manager with various projects as assigned.
Manage effective relationship and communication with Best Vendors on Client Contracts.
Respond to all ad hoc management requests for client financial reporting.
Respond to ad hoc management requests for financial information.
Review and analyze monthly Foodbuy reporting to client.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA and/or MBA preferred.
3+ years finance/accounting experience.
Proficiency in Excel and Access a must.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Able to travel up to 15% and overnight as needed.
