Job Description:
Foodbuy is the foodservice industry's leading Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) focused on lowering purchasing and product costs for foodservice organizations.

With offices in Charlotte, NC and Alpharetta, GA, we offer a Great Opportunity for career development and growth as a Vendor Relations Analyst in our Charlotte, NC office.

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility is to maximize cash collection of accounts receivables, minimize bad debt losses and develop effective customer relationships. Analyst is to monitor and manage a receivable portfolio including performance of collection activities in accordance with established credit and collection policies and procedures.

Review past due accounts and take appropriate action for collection.

Reconcile and analyze customer payment deductions on a timely basis.

Written advice for correct cash application to ensure proper payment posting.

Qualifications:

5 to 7 years related experience and/or degree in finance or related business discipline.

Collection and A/R skills; proven success in reduction of A/R.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Proficient in Excel, Outlook and Word Programs.

Great Plains experience helpful.

Ability to work independently.

Well developed interpersonal skills.

Proven negotiation skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Advanced organizational abilities.

Able to meet monthly and annual goals as provided by management.

Work well with deadlines.
