As the Production Manager you will be responsible for assisting the site manager with running the day to day operations of the account. You will manage and lead a team of associates and oversee quality controls for the account. Additionally, as part of the management team, you will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities:
Menu Development/Forecasting/Ordering
Tracking for best priced items both commodity and commercial which should result in a lower cost of food production
Cost control which will includes handling budgets and P&L
Utilization of Webtrition and Nutri-Slice for menu planning in order to follow the Federal Nutritional Guidelines and communicate nutritional information with student nurses, students and parents to view our daily menus
Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with Chartwells marketing and culinary team.
Qualifications:
BS degree in Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred.
Previous experience managing cost controls is helpful.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft office, internet, and email.
Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company.
