Job Description: FACILITIES SPECIALIST/QA MANAGER - MIDWEST AREA
This is a GREAT OPPORTUNITY to become a leader in a great company, and growing corporation. In this position you will be responsible for providing support in the areas of documentation, logistics, and customer service. We are seeking an autonomous individual with excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. The ideal candidate would be highly organized and able to manage confidential and sensitive information.
Responsibilities:
Visit each retail location within assigned region at least four (4) times per year
Utilize the checklist tool to assure each location is maintaining acceptable standards for VZW retail facilities
Analyze data for trending and potential new programming
Compile information for regional team for special projects
Educate store personnel on facilities services
Review conditions for possible environmental concerns
The Facility Specialist (FS) will visit each Verizon Wireless Retail Location a minimum of 4 times per year (1 time per quarter). The FS will establish and maintain a routine schedule of store visits and coordinate these with the Facilities Analyst.
During each location visit, the FS will complete the on-line checklist, notating any deficiencies that need to be addressed and opening work orders as needed.
The FS should observe and notate the quality of work performed in the stores by the Facilities Vendors and report any trends or quality issues to the Facility Analyst.
The FS may be tasked with assisting with program roll-outs, additional information gathering or projects, or training for store managers/employees as directed by the Region Facilities Team.
The FS will meet with the Regional Facilities Team on a periodic basis as determined by the Team.
Additional projects as required.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required. BS/BA preferred.
1-2 years minimum experience in retail facilities and/or construction or building trades.
Flexible schedule and Extensive travel required.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and communications skills.
PC proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word required.
The ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
