Job Description:
Oversees the storeroom operation while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for the staff. Ensures proper ordering, receiving, storing, and inventorying of supplies and food for patient/tray line, production, retail/cafeteria service, and catering.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of purchasing experience REQUIRED
- Good knowledge of food and inventory trends with a focus on operation while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment for the staff,
- P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
- Experience with cash retail operations
- Possess accurate data-entry skills, computer skills, and be detailed oriented with great organizational skills
- Knowledge of food industry and/or purchasing strongly preferred.
- Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
- Must be willing to participate in patient satisfaction programs/activities
- Serv Safe certified highly desirable
- Must be able to successfully complete criminal background check (State and Federal) and drug screening
