Job Description:


This is a Great Opportunity to become a leader in a great company and growing Sector: of Compass Group, Canteen Dining Services. We are seeking a growth minded Food Service Manager to direct the foodservice operation in a corporate dining account.

Responsibilities:



  • Minimum of three years of food service management experience in contract foodservice, or restaurant.

  • Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products.

  • Able to handle responsibility for ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures-follows HACCP standards.

  • Knowledge of financial (P&L), budgetary, accounting and computational practices.

  • Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills.

  • Ability to produce quality catering events.

  • ServSafe certified is a plus.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.


Qualifications:



  • Three years experience in food service operations.

  • Two or four year degree.

  • Two years progressive hospitality experience is desired.

  • Demonstrated profit and loss management ability and client relations success is essential.

  • Must be able to demonstrate high end catering experience.

  • Requires operations management experience with purchasing knowledge.

  • Excellent communication and computer skills are needed, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
